Recently, Google has been working tweets into search, but only
for mobile. Google search results will show real-time results from
Twitter, which will be separated from news content using Google’s
familiar card-based format.
It’s been a long time coming, but tweets are finally viewable on Google
(again). The company announced a partnership that’ll see real-time
shares from Twitter re-embedded within search results, nearly four years
after the end of an earlier agreement forced Google to remove them.
Tweets are returning to mobile first “any browser on your phone or tablet,” Google says- and desktop in the near future. They’re limited to English, for now.
Google helps you search for things and Twitter/Tweets help you find what
people are saying about things. It’s a marriage made in heaven, which
is why the rumors have always swirled about the search giant acquiring
Twitter.
